Backup software for XP Pro

I am getting a new Dell with XP Pro. I just read that the backup software
that comes with XP Pro does not support CDRW or DVD media. Is this true?
What software is out there that I can use?

yes it is true. buy Norton Ghost to do backup's. It's fast, write's to
CD's/Hard drives/networks/etc. it's really worth buying. i use it all the
time.
