I backed up my data using windows backup tool and installed XP on my laptop.
After installation I cannot restore my data on to XP or 2K machine, I get
error "unuseable file" is there fix for this ...I would really appreciate
it...I have 3.2 gb of data. Thanks in advance.

If you did the backup under win 98 the data is unreadable by Win2k and xp
