Backup problems

I have just replaced my old Windows 98 machine with a
Windows XP system.

All my old files were backed up with the backup program
which came with Windows 98.

I can not find the program on XP to restore the files.

Is it there?

If not can I download it or copy it from Windows 98 and
how.

Help!

you can't use any software in Windows XP to recover the files. you need to
get them in Windows 98 so you can either put them on a floppy or CD-R and
then you can get them into XP.
