backup for web on local drive

Is it possible to back up my web to a local drive using the publish feature. In other words from my "C" drive to my "D" drive which is my instance is my second hard drive or do I have to publish from the server to accomplish this?
 
Sure, open the web on the C: drive and publish to a web on the D:

Duh............I didnt even see the "file system" option on the publish window. Thanks
 
copy and paste?? from one drive to another.
I just do back ups by WinZipping my files and putting them on to ZIP 250Mb disks.
easy and effective - easy to restore if necessary.
