I'm trying to update Windows xp but it suggests I make a backup before I do and I have no clue how to. I came across an article that says go start>accessories>system tools> to a icon called "backup" but I don't see that! I think it might only be for XP Professional. Can someone please explain if I should backup before I update and if so how to do it. Thank You.

NT Backup is included in the XP operating system but you have to install it
from the disk since it does not by default in XP Home. It will not copy
directly to a cd , and it needs to be copied to the hard drive first.
Programs can be reinstalled from their disks . back up files and settings
using cds. Jym
