Backing up XP....ghost work ?

I have norton ghost and have always backed up my 98se system
but it was small...maybe 300megs so I just thru it on a cd and ok.
Now I am using xp pro and wow 2.5 G.
Can I still use ghost to backup. What can I store this on DVD,
Is that what most people use?

yes you can still use ghost, although you have to have version 2002 or
greater.
