Backing up Outlook Express 6.0

I may be in the wrong newsgroup, but can anyone tell me how to back up the
files for OE 6. Running Windows XP, but in case of a serious crash, loss of
my saved correspondence, address book, etc. would be devastating. Thanks in
advance for any help.
 
All your messages (inbox, sent, folders you created, etc) are kept as .dbx
files and your address book is a .wab file. Just do a search for *.dbx and
*.wab and save that result. Be sure to go into the advanced search options
and check system and hidden files.
Or you can right click on any one of your folders and choose properties and
that will give you the location for all of them. Similarly the address book
location can be found by opening the address book and clicking Help, About
Address Book.
