backing up OE folders/message/rules

I checked and OE 5 is telling me that the messages (and presumably their
corresponding folders) can only be exported to Outlook or MS Exchange.
Is there a way to "export" my message rules and messages/folders to OE6 on
my new computer from OE5 (old computer) without using the Export function??
