backing up email messages, Address Books, and Favorites

I am currently backing up these manually to DVD every other day.
I just got Nero. Can I add these files to my backup jobs so they are
automatically backed up?
I know about the export functions in OE and IE but I just want to copy/burn:

all the dbx files from my OE store folder for OE messages
the wab file for OE Address Book
and (not sure which file/folder) for Favorites

Will burning these files to DVD enable a restore?

Using Windows XP home...SP1...waiting to backup this stuff before installing
SP2
