Backing Up Mailbox to PST: Now Missing Calendar & Contacts in PST

OL2003: I am backing up my mailbox (CW) to a PST using the File/ImportExport
feature. All works great afterwards, I can add the new PST in and see
everything.

However, if I email the PST to a coworker, he can see all mail msgs./folders
but not the Contacts or Calendars. We've tried this on several machines. Is
there a logical explanation for this? Thanks.

Did you coworker display the Folder List navigation pane?

Hi Sue- yes the folder List view is set by default. I have gone through all
the views/filters. I can duplicate this on several other users pc's. Is
this by design since the Cal. & Contacts are non-email folders?

Certainly not. If you exported them (which isn't the best way to handle
it), then the data will be there and if you can see it on your own machine
in that PST, you can see it on any.

Thanks for your responses - I do understand more today than I did yesterday!
Unfortunately simply changing the View didn't work - however, if the user
goes in to the toolbar and expand the PST that way instead then change the
view to Folder List, all views do show, so thanks again for explaining to me
how that works.
