I have a user that has "lost" 3 months on emails, I exmerged his mail box to
a pst file and opened it as a outlook data file and it appears all his emails
are there. Thinking there was a problem with his exchange profile I exmerged
this pst file into our virtual exchange server and open up his mailbox in a
virtual PC, more emails appeared ??, I then opened the pst file used to
exmerge as a outlook data file (on the virtual PC)and it has less emails than
the mail box. I cant see how the emails are lost so they must be hidden from
view, if I have both open in the same outlook how can I not see all the
emails in the mail box and in the pst file, as far as I know there are no
filters or viewing options set. Any ideas on what is happening are
appreciated, at least he got his email back.
