Under "Format" menu, I've selected "Background", clicked
the dropdown and selected "Fill Effects", clicked the "Picture" TAB and
clicked
the "Select Picture", image appears; however, it's not an image I have on my
system. How can I capture (copy) this image for future use in PowerPoint?

Save your presentation as webpage. It will give you the original picture to
you. Select "File" | "Save as Web Page..." menu item, select "Web Page
(*.htm; *.html)" in "Save as type" box, click "Save" button.
