How to print background style picture in grayscale mode?

Hi,

I'm currently working on ppt projects and I can't seem to figure out how to
print slide with backround style images in grayscale. Images are in
..png-format and RGB-mode.

I make background graphics using menu: design/background style/format
backgound/fill/picture... When I print the slide in full color mode
everything is fine, but when I'm trying to print them in grayscale the
background is empty. My powerpoint version is 2007 (12.0.6307.5000) SP1 MSO.

Jim,

If you use this method...

I make background graphics using menu: design/background style/format
backgound/fill/picture...

That's the reason they don't print in B&W- it's by design!

Physically put the graphic image on the slide master, then you can control
how it prints in grayscale/bw
