Background image has lines in it

Hi all

Starting yesterday my background image has two white liines in it no matter what picture I change to. Even the Xp themes have them. Can any one help me please

I've tried two different monitors, work and home. I'm not too sure what they are though

Try starting your computer in Safe Mode. Is the picture clear? If yes, you
need to update your video driver. Is the picture still crummy? Then you need
to replace your video card.
