Background Color Change

The name of each of the icons on my desktop is now white letters on a blue
background. I don't know why this changed. How do I get the colors back to
the original? Thanks.

Right-click 'My Computer' => Properties => Advanced tab => Performance
section => Check 'Use drop shadows...'

1.Remove all Active desktop items :
.... Right click Desktop
.... Properties
.... Desktop tab
.... Customize desktop button
.... Web tab
.... Uncheck all items and click OK

2. Uncheck Lock icons
.... Right click Desktop
.... Point to Arrange icons by
.... Uncheck "Lock web items on Desktop"


3. Use Drop shadows for icons
.... Click Start
.... Click Run
.... Type sysdm.cpl ,3
.... Click Enter
.... Click the first "Settings" button
.... Scroll down and tick "Use drop shadows for icon labels...."
