Backdoor.IRC.Cirebot

Hello,
Does anyone know how this trojan (Backdoor.IRC.Cirebot) is delivered?
Email, whilst on a network, ...? Am trying to diagnose how a PC was
possibly infected.

dont know if it will explain how the trojan got there, but here you are.

the trojan, but does not explicitly say what delivery methods might
have been.

Trojans don't have a specific delivery method. They may come via email
attachment, RPC exploit (such as BLASTER worm), sneaky approved
download, or they may come via a drive-by activex control download.
