Back Up problems

when I try to use back up it fails saying "The files for the recovery
diskette could not be created." And that's the only info it gives!
It would be great if someone could help.

Do you have XP Pro or Home? If XP Home, don't use the ASR option. It does
not work reliably in XP Home.
