Back to plain vanilla sign in

I have two user names (plus administrator) hence two desktops. I now only
need a single desktop. How can I go to a single desktop and just sign in as
the administrator.
Will this affect my McAfee Privacy Service?
 
The User Accounts app in control panel can delete accounts.
