Back grounds in Word

Mmmkay! I have a word doc with (this is going to prob sound stupid but,) I don’t know whether it’s a header/footer or a picture in the back ground because when I double click it comes up with both tool bars
What I need to do is copy some text onto background I’ve been given, with just the background appearing on the 1st page of the doc without the background appearing on every page or every other page

Hi,

You should take this up in a Word group, but it sounds to me like you want
to copy over a watermark.
