Working with an IBM Thinkpad, I was trying to get this user access to a Workgroup printer. His laptop was configured for a domain and I changed the configuration to a workgroup, using the name of our local workgroup. After rebooting the computer we can't login. Is there a backdoor solution to this or??????

The user does not exist on the machine, as it was a domain account (a
profile might exist, but now you have set it to not log on to a domain, it
will be inaccessible). To make it very clear to you, the user does not exist
on the local machine!
If I were you, I would let the administrator of the domain the user connects
to fix the problem. Please do not mess with other people's machines unless
you really know what you are doing.
