does anybody know how i could put a 720mb film onto 2 cds?

You will need software to split the avi file and then convert it to vcd to
play in a DVD player, try searching the web, (avi 2 vcd ) some software you
can find free and some are trial versions.
 
the question is are you tryinging to play it from the cd or just using them
to transfer it to another computer
