I saw a message pop up on my PC about this today, has anyone tried the new version?

I have to confess to using AVG as I rather like it, I liked Antivir/Avast for a while but I always come back to AVG.

The main gripe with AVG is ... its poor detection of Trojans & Worms ... as an AV program it is fine.

I haven't seen a Virus in the wild for quite a few years, but just look at the threads her on PCR with people that have had a Trojan to try and eradicate.

To be fair, most Trojans are hard to remove from your PC, requiring some additional help from other programs.

Anti-Vir updates to these 'nasties' is second only to KAV or NOD32 ... ;)
