AVG 6.0

Is Grisoft down or is it me? I've been trying to update my AVG 6.0
for several days and cannot connect. Perhaps I should switch my virus
protection?

And me. I tried various times thru the day but no luck. Will keep trying as

Just tried again at 1348cet. Its 2038 kbs and it downloaded in 3mins-18secs.
The upgrade is therefore working again. Keep trying

I've run into this problem on several occasions and the solution is to go
directly to the site and perform a manual download and install. Works
perfect everytime.

Go here ... download the update for your particular AVG version, then

Still being unable to update through the program I went to the above
URL and downloaded the file but when I restarted AVG it didn't locate
and install the new Update file automatically. I'll give it another
day.

You have to put the update file in the update subdirectory of where you have AVG installed
such as c:\avg\update\

I just updated mine, but it WAS slow. This happens when the servers are
extremely busy. Maybe you're giving up too soon.

You have to put the update file in the update subdirectory of where you have AVG installed
such as c:\avg\update\

That's where I put it. However, I was just able to finally update
through the program.

Update hasn't worked for days. But finally last night
success @ a whopping 3kb/s download!
