Autoupdate on XP machine

I have Windows XP Professional and I want to update
security patches on my machine. I download all the
security updates, but how do I autoupdate my downloaded
security updates residing local on my machine. I don't
want to autoupdate by connecting to internet. I want to
autoupdate from my downloaded files.

Thanks

You can't. Autoupdate is for updating from a server, nothing else.
If you downloaded the patches all you have to do is run them.
Just double click on the .exe and they will install.

Typically the downloaded updates have a setup.exe or .exe file which can be
clicked on.

Does the order I install them in matter? If so how do I
go about determining what order to install?

thanks
