AutoText not working

Our firm runs MS Office 2003. I have one user who continually has issues
with the AutoText feature working. It seems to myseriously work some days,
and some days it does not. I have made sure that all personally created
AutoText entries have the first four characters unique, and that the Show
AutoComplete Suggestions check box is selected. But the AutoText suggestions
do not appear for any of the AutoText entries(even the ones predefined by MS
Word). They work if the user types out the complete name of the AutoText
entry and presses F3, but the suggestion tip window is nowhere in sight. Any
suggestions are greatly apprecaited!

Have you taken a look at Insert>AutoText>AutoText to make sure the check for
Show AutoComplete Suggestions hasn't been cleared?

Yes it is selected. We tried unchecking it saving the setting, then we
"rechecked" it and saved the setting, and the suggestions still do not appear.
