After uninstalling a trial download of Nero 7 Ultra (which is a bloated piece
of crap that kept locking up on me, by the way), the autoplay action menu
which pops up when I load a blank or music cd continues to show two options
associated with Nero. In addition to as I said uninstalling the app, I
deleted any references to Nero or Ahead in my registry with regedit, as well
as searching for and deleting any Ahead or Nero files or folders left on my
h/d (there was one folder in program files/common files). I even downloaded
and ran an "Autofix" app I found on Microsoft, but these Nero options still
show on Autoplay and it's annoying. How can I clean up this menu? I also
opened each of my two optical drives under My Computer, opened Properties
then the Autoplay tab and hit restore defaults, to no avail. Thx for any
help.
