Is anyone aware of how one could automate the entry of
text/keyboard input via a shortcut, i.e., always having to
manually key in ones email address. In my case it is a
pain since through a normal day I must have to input it
about 50 times, and it is very long, and I have more than
one.

thanks for any tips,
Tom

I think you need to explain better exactly what your trying to do. If your
talking about sending email why not put the addresses you use all the time
in the address book, then you just pick them when needed.

What I mean is that as I go to various accounts that I
have/groups that I belong to on the web, everybody wants
you to input your email address (usually it's your
userid). And as I said it is a pain to re-enter (in my
case) 25 characters everytime.

I there any feature in windows/keyboard shortcut that
would allow you to bang it all in with one click (besides
copy and paste)?

Thanks for any insight you might provide.

You could use a real news reader like outlook express or agent instead of
using web interface newsgroups. In a news reader you can set it up so you
don't have to type in your return address all the time.
If the only way to access the groups in question is thru a web based
reader(meaning there groups are not carried on the Usenet newsgroups) then
possibly some macro software might help. This type of software records what
you do on the computer and compiles a program so with one click it will do
what you recorded. You can use this for tasks that are repetitive. Search
google for macro creation programs.
