Automatically sign me in.

I would like to set my computer up so that I can go on the net, and delte my
cookies and history any time I want, and not lose the one cookie that I have
for "Automaticcaly sign in every time I log on". there are many sites that I
go on like this one for example, that I have to log on with. So I click the
option to Automatically sign me in, but I often delete my cookies so that I
have a fast computer. Can anyone tell me how to delete my cookies, but keep
the automatically sign-in ones?

You could probably do it in a batch file, but you will have to determine
which cookie files you want to keep. Theres no way to systematically
determine different "kinds"...

Override Default Cookie Handling. Using this you can opt to
block all 3rd-Party Cookies (Not related to the site you are
visiting). Set 1st-Party Cookies to Prompt. Over time you can
build an Allowed/Blocked table with only the cookies you want
on your system. Each site will present you with a decision box
where you make your selection.

Here's how:
IE, Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced
Click "Override Default Cookie Handling", Prompt for 1st
party and Block or Prompt for 3rd-Party.

Some 3rd-party applications allow you to do this. I use Zone Alarm
Pro as my firewall. It has a cleanup function which allows you to
specify which temporary files you wish to delete. For Internet
Explorer it allows you to specify which cookies you wish to keep while
deleting the others.
