Automatically dial up to check for messages at regular intervals

I know that I can set Outlook to automatically dial up and check for new
messages (and send any waiting in Outbox) at regular intervals, say every
half hour. Can I specify for this to happen at specific times, ie, on the
hour and half hour?

The send/receive process allows you to change the intervals of how often the
send/receive will be processed. However the option is not available for
specific times or scenarious such as at the top of every half-hour.

Setting up the 30 minute interval would be an option or doing an manual
send/receive at the specified time.

Very many thanks to you, Francine. You have saved me spending any more time
fruitlesslessly searching for functionality that doesn't exist!

If I check 'manually' on the hour, then maybe the next auto check will take
place on the half hour , and so on.
