Setting up start/stop intervals in Calendar

When I set up an appointment or meeting request in Outlook 2003
Calendar, the start time defaults to half hour start/end intervals
which are too large for our office - I know I can manually overtype a
start time but I would prefer it default toa smaller interval, say, 15-
minute intervals.

Is this an easy preference ?

Change your time scale in your calendar to a 15 minute interval. Right click
on the left column displaying the time.

Hi Randy,

So the only way to schedule appts. with intervals smaller than 30 minutes
would be to set the interval in the calendar view to 15 minutes and schedule
an appt. from this location? Using the New>Appt. method will not allow a user
to select smaller scales of time?

TIA

30 minutes is the smallest interval, unless you change the time scale to 15
minutes, preselect the slot you wish to reserve, then click New>Appointment.
