Hi
How do I remove a function that starts a program when I
start up. The program in question is not visibel in
the "Autostart".
Please help

Go to Start, Run..., and enter "msconfig" without the quotes. Click OK.

Find the Startup tab, and look for the name of the file you want to
disable. Clear the checkbox for that file by clicking on the checkbox.
Then click OK, and restart your computer. The file should be disabled.

Hi Peter,

Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on the startup
programs. Locate your problem program in this list and make note of where it
is loading from. This is where you need to go to remove it. If you are
unsure of how to proceed, post back with the loading location for additional
instructions.
