Under My Computer | Properties | Automatic Updates |
Settings, the 3rd choice: "Automatically download the
updates, and install them on the schedule I specify," is
not working. It automatically downloads, but still
prompts me to install it now or later. Is this a bug, or
am I missing something??

Something you are missing.
Are you logged into the PC all the time(when it is on/on the Internet)?
Are you a system administrator?

By design, the automatic updates still gives the person logged on (given
they are a system administrator) the choices to download/install the updates
(one or the other or both.) This is by design. You would either have to be
logged off but connected to the Internet at the specified time for the
updates to occur without question, or logged on as a non-administrator at
the very least (and I cannot guarantee that would work, because I do not
know the particulars of your situation.)
