Automatic Updates

If you use automatic updates, and set them to be
downloaded automatically and installed on a schedule, what
happens if the PC is off during the scheduled time? Does
the update happen at the next boot, or does it wait until
the next scheduled time?

Mike;
You need to have the computer on during the scheduled time or nothing
happens.
The update does not happen at the next boot because since it is
scheduled, it is assumed the computer may be needed for other work at
other times.
Schedule at a known power on time.
