Automatic Updates Works for Me!

I just received a pop-up that says I have received an automatic update!

Great, they work for me too. But are you suppose to post images in the
newsgroups? I don't think so.

I had not seen anyone yet post a note that the automatic update was working
so I thought I would spread the news that is seems to be working.

As for not posting images, I am not the first to post an image but I AM the
first to be questioned on it. I will look at the starting messages for
these newsgroups but I don't recall seeing a restriction. There is no FAQ
for any of these groups that I have seen either.

I would not post a megabyte(s) sized screenshot like I have seen in other
places though so lets not start a panic.

Well, I received warnings not to post images before, but its probably
because those were private betas. It had something do with bandwidth, some
persons might be using dial up and they will get fed up if the image takes
too long to download and just no bother with post and move on.

I probably could have made the file smaller, I try to keep them under 65kb.
Usually 8 to 10kb is a ggod size - visible yet not clogging.

Dialups do go crazy when someone attaches a 4MB screenshot to a message!
