Automatic Update Problem

Hey all -

I've got a strange problem that hopefully someone's seen before. I have a laptop that keeps getting prompted to install an automatic update, but when you click the option to install, the window just closes and nothing happens. I can update it manually through the website. But the next time an update is available, the same thing happens. I checked the logs and couldn't find anything listing an error. Please see below from the Windows Update Log and note that after the automatic update closed I manually updated it:
