This morning several of our Windows XP machines had
the "Automatic Updates completed, Restart the computer to
complete (yes) (no) box" , if we restart it keeps coming
back to the same screen, we can not take the NO option.
We opened the Task Manager and ended the job but it keeps
coming back. We can drag the box to the corner and keep
using the PC, but we want to get rid of the message.
We already disabled the Automatic update function.

Hi,

See if the update program is in a WUtemp folder and remove it. If possibly,
please post back with the numerical designation of the problematic update.
