Automatic Style Changes

I am using Word 2007 and I want to turn of the automatic style changes - is
there any way I can do that? I want to just be able to type text without it
changing!!! It's very frustrating...

Click Office button | Word Options. In the Proofing category, click
AutoCorrect Options. Click the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Clear "Define
styles based on your formatting." In fact, you may want to clear all options
under "Apply as you type" and "Automatically as you type." See
