If I enter a website into the address bar with
the 'HTTP://' it comes up just fine, but I just
put 'www.website.com' into the address bar it will
automatically put a bunch of other junk before it and it
won't come up. so I have to go back and put the 'HTTP://'
in front of it and his enter and it works fine. how do I
fix this?

Check internet options -> advanced -> search from address bar. Try to set it
as "do not search ...". Could you post what junk is added to address bar.
You just might have got spyware or hijcaker, which has messed your IE search
function. If that junk is web address and it points to other than microsoft
site, you should scan for spyware. Get for example Ad-aware from Lavasoft.
