I appologize for asking a noob question but I can't seem to find the
answer anywhere else. I recently installed Win XP and I want my
computer to start and execute my programs in the startup menu without
my having to hit the return key everytime. I have no password as
Admin. nor as my account and this occurs on whichever one that I was
last on. The help files say that login is only necessary once and
then it will come back up to the same account. Thanks in advance for
any tips.

Start > run > type "control userpasswords2" without the quotes > press enter
untick the box that says users must enter a username and password to use
this computer > fill in the information (leave the password blank if you
have none) click okay a couple of times, and reboot to see if it works.
