automatic folder creation at "My Documents" folder

Quite a few programs, including Adobe Acrobat, Power DVD,Microsft Media
Player etc,automatically create a folder at the "My Documents"
location.There's no way to prevent that from the program's preferences nor
relocate the folder creation someplace else.

Is there any solution to this problem?
 
You can go to each Programs Options and change where that folder is
directed.
 
To remove the My eBooks folder (added by Acrobat Reader), use this method

Move the file ebook.api from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat
x.0\Reader\plug_ins" to the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat x.0\Reader\optional

"Acrobat x.0" may be Acrobat 6.0 in your system. Delete the My eBooks folder
now. At a later stage, if you again want to use the eBook plugin, revert it
back to the plug_ins folder.
