Automatic Deletion of Email

My email in my inbox is deleting automatically. I open it, switch to another
folder, then come back to the inbox, it is gone... Can someone let me know
how I fix this?

While viewing your inbox, go to view>current view>select 'Show all
messages', instead of 'hide read messages'?
