I have been using the XP Automatic Backup function which
seems like a great idea and it has helped me restore my
computer several times. However, I have found that my
Window Automatic Backup file (I only see one file, not
multiple files corresponding to backup dates) is now 30
GB! I believe this is affecting the performance of my
hard drive as it is only 40 GB. I'm afraid to just
delete it since it is part of XP but can't find a dialog
box that will give me the option to modify past backup
material. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you're talking about a .bkf file ?? It's keeps
appending the next backup to what you already have, the
file keeps growing and growing. You can do a complete
backup and then delete the old one or check to overwrite
whats there.
