So XP won't boot. What does ASR add to just booting from
the install disk? Either way you lose whatever was on
the root drive.
My computer wouldn't start today. It couldn't even get to
the DOS text that preceeds XP startup (the little beep
sound). Finally it did. Very gratifying, but now I'm
scared to turn the computer off.
What I would like to know is if it is possible, in such a
situation, to force XP to boot without having to
reinstall all your applications.
