Automated System Recovery Question

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question about Automated System Recovery in Windows XP
Professional.

I currently have an old 20GB Western Digital drive in my computer with XP
Pro installed. I want to replace that drive with a new Maxtor 40GB drive. Can
I use ASR to transfer the image from the WD drive to the Maxtor drive and
still have everything work?

thats not really the way its supposed to work.

most drives come with software to do just that ....check the Maxtor website
, it is probably available as a download
