Autologin will not work because the domain is not
available. The computers network is not running yet when
the computer goes to login as a user that has not been on
the machine yet. Is there a way to ensure that the
network is running before it brings up the logon screen?

Hi, michael -

There is.

Run the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) and browse to
Computer Configuration --> Administrative Templates -->
System --> Logon

Set the policy that says "Always wait for the network at
computer startup and logon". This can also be set as a
domain policy if you don't want to touch all the
workstations.

Hope this helps -

This does not work, ive set the policy, set each of the 4
possible registry keys to force this and it still comes up
domain unavailable. The user that it is trying to log in
with does not have a cached profile or it would login just
fine, but because there isnt a cached profile it doesnt
find the domain in order to create the profile.
