Reading the thread on "Disable ONLY keyboard" and went to the site where
I also found stuff on a thing called autohotstring.
As a long time user of RoboType from PC mag (now is small $ware) I can
vouch for the utility of this kind of program.
I have not played with it yet but is is here:

Hi Lou,

glad I could provide a useful link. AutoHotkey is now one the most useful
programs on my computer. The script language is complex for those not used
to write programs, but it's easy to learn. There are even GUI-scripts for
hotkeys and stuff in the forum (http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/). Of
course, there you can find help with problems regarding AutoHotkey.

I got to know about AutoHotkey from an article in the computer magazin c't.
If you speak German, you can use their script compilation ac'tivAid
(http://www.heise.de/ct/ftp/05/22/210/default.shtml), which provides you
with a lot of useful configurable scripts under one GUI.

The documentation is very extensive and the author reacts quick if a bug is
found. Just take a short look at the features (http://www.autohotkey.com/)
and the example scripts (http://www.autohotkey.com/docs/scripts/index.htm).

Regards,

Denis
