Autofill - Windows Mail

Autofill seems to reset and "forget" an address after a couple of days if I
don't send an email to that particular address. I know I don't exceed that
magical list of 29 saved addresses.

For example, if I sent and email to Tom yesterday, autofill works today with
that address. But if I waited a few days, autofill forgets it.

I also have a laptop with Windows Mail, and it works fine there.

Any ideas?

If you'd rather use the contacts list instead, which can hold more
addresses,
when you start a new message, don't type any part of the address. Instead,
click on To:.

Your laptop will take longer to reach the 29 addresses limit if you send
mail to fewer addresses there.

Actually, that's why I want the autofill to have a longer history. I'm a very
fast PC user and I'm always looking for a shortcut. I don't have the patience
to visit my address book every time.

I do have my address book completely filled out. I just hope I can get the
autofill to work every time.

Under some conditions Windows Mail saves far fewer than 29
addresses for autofill. For those who need this feature to work
properly, switch to WLM. It uses the entire list of Contacts for
autofilling.
