AutoCorrect

I do know that "AutoCorrect" exit in office applications
which are on individual profile level. Is possible to
create a "AutoCorrect" which is global with an
enterprise/company, if yes, how can this be done.

Thanks,

Not really. Most AC entries are stored in .acl files, one per "language."
Some are stored in normal.dot. You can make a master list of AC entries
using the utility downloadable from the MVP FAQ site. Using that utility you
can distribute your master list to all of your users. It is just that these
then revert to being individual files. I guess when you have something to
add, you can send the master list out again and have people run the utility
again.

AutoText entries are much easier to handle since they can be stored in
global templates which can be routinely updated as a part of a user's
network login.

I'm far from an expert, but...
Thanks for the response. However, I have 2 other
questions:

1) Since the users might be able to expand the contents by
adding their entries, is it possible to merge 2 .acl
files. The idea is to merge master list with whatever the
user already insertd.
I believe the utility you can download from the MVP FAQ site will do this.
Could be wrong; it has been more than a year since I used it.
2) Can one define 2 .acl files for the same language?
I don't think you can have two active .acl files for the same language. You
can probably define as many as you want by moving the old ones.
