Autocorrect not working in Outlook 2003

I have Office 2002 and recently upgraded my Outlook to 2003.

I am now unable to set autocorrect when composing emails in Outolook. Well
i've clicked all the tabs on but it doesn't work.

Is this a compatability problem between 2002 & 2003?

In Outlook, Tools, Options, Mail Format, there is an option to check, 'use
Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit email' Obviously I can't check this as I
have Word 2002.

Can I change this so it will recognise Word 2002 and alow me to use the
autocheck functions as I want?

It's as I feared, I've gained some benefits but lost others, at least I know
