AutoCorrect Deleting words, more specific information

I posted this on the 10th, but have narrowed the problem down to a specific situation. I have created several forms with drop-down lists and text fields. It is when I am typing in the text fields that AutoCorrect deletes the misspelled words. It happens with the preloaded corrections and with the ones I added. For example, I type "alot", in stead of "a lot" replacing my mistake, the word "alot" is deleted.

Unfortunately, you don't mention the version of Word you have... This behavior is a known problem for Word 2000:
